Step inside the revitalized and refreshed Legends exhibit and get closer to the artists who changed the sound of America. Created to celebrate the 2025 Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame Inductees, this renewed experience brings their stories to life through the instruments they played, the songs they wrote, and the movements they helped shape.

In this refreshed space, every artifact tells a story. See the 1930 Martin guitar Stephen Stills used to write “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” before gifting it to Judy Collins, the Guild F-30 that carried Mississippi John Hurt through Newport’s folk revival, and the elegant Les Paul Custom identical to the one Sister Rosetta Tharpe used to set the stage on fire.
